I’m Just A Girl

This week I polled my Instagram followers to see what era they most wanted me to style. The answer was clear, we are all in on the 90’s!!

I took my inspiration from the iconic film, Clueless and my own personal 90’s style idol, Gwen Stefani.

During the actual 90’s not only could I not afford to be hip, there was absolutely no plus sized options for the coveted look I dreamt of achieving. But here we are in 2023, with the 90’s resurgence! From grunge to rock to pop, it’s all  accessible and way too fun to pass up.

Torrid’s Pocket Pixie Skinny Studio Luxe Point High Rise Pants (wow that’s a mouthful of a product name) are one of my absolute favourite pants and I jumped to score these red plaids during their end of year sale using my Torrid Cash AND a gift certificate from Christmas. 

A 90’s moment was inevitable!

I don’t want to discount these incredible pants as just a look. I have at least a dozen other outfits to style with them and even just tossing on a cardigan changed the vibe.
