Santa Rosa was the first stay of our road trip adventure and we immediately wished it was for more than one night! We found delicious restaurants, fun shopping, gardens and parks.
We also stayed in the newly renovated retro vibe Flamingo! It was SO cute and I was definitely disappointed I didn't leave us enough time or energy to utilize their sparkling pool!
The wooden walls gave me Sam & Dean motel vibes... IYKYK
And then we were off! We had gardens and parks to enjoy.
And then we hit the road and stopped in Botega Bay, simply for the stunning views! The crashing waves and spectacular ocean energy were the location for Hitchcock's The Birds.
The views from every angle were breathtaking! I could've spent a whole day just taking photos of this gorgeous spot.
But finally it was time to drive the Pacific Coast Highway north. The views were stunning the entire way but you'll have to take my word for it as there was no way to capture photos along the winding drive.
