One of my favourite packages to get in the mail has fast become the Causebox.
The beautiful CAUSEBOX arrived to my mailbox today and I’ve had to catch my breath!
The box itself was stunning.
Some of the most wonderful and unique products I’ve seen in a subscription box. Beautiful products with beautiful intentions.
First was Nashelle. A jewelry brand that donates a plate of food for each piece sold!
Coconut Sunstick from All Good. I’m excited to try this on next week’s cottage trip!
All Good has a commitment to making good things for your body and our planet ❤
Shelly Steer artwork.
I’ve long wanted to place a large order of puravida bracelets so this was a truly delightful surprise (and now I feel like I simply must order some of the fun matching ones now)! Perfect summer colours from Costa Rica artists all the way to my doorstep.
Haiti Design Co. focuses on putting people above profit and creating fashion for good. I love the leather tassel keychain included in the Causebox. Beautiful.
And the Mason Bar company – I received a lid, a stainless steel straw and the large wide mouth mason jar to rock the nicest travel mug ever and some Pure Moringa smoothie powder to fill this jar up with a powerful smoothie concoction (a great smoothie recipe was included in the included magazine)!
I’m all ready to give this Kalos Triple Threat detox a try and report back to you. I am hyper critical of face products so I will let you know, but I do love that this is all natural and organic!
And lastly in the box were these Altru paper products; notebook and bookmark, handmade by artisans in Jaipur, India! So pretty!!
So overall review; I am in love with this box, in case that wasn’t obvious. The products are beautiful, the styles and colours suit me perfectly. The organization and the product makers support amazing causes. This price point ($49.95USD) is completely worth it and because I try out a lot of subscription boxes I really love how unique this box was in every way.
Will I continue my subscription? Heck yes!
What is your favourite Subscription Box? What should I try next?
It’s Boxy Charm time again! This month’s box is the Boho Glow theme and honestly, I’m loving Boxy Charm more and more.
I’m not sure why they didn’t make this an Easter theme! Look how cute those egg blending sponges are!!!!
Totally Easter Eggs.
Beyond excited to try this shampoo – sulfate and paraben free shampoos are my favourite especially with coloured hair…plus, strawberry banana? Yes please!
Boxy Charm features a lot of OFRA products in their boxes so it was a bit of a disappointment to receive yet another after also receiving SO MANY highlight powders from them already. I mean… how much contouring are we doing ladies?!?!? But, this gold powder will likely give me a nice extra sheen once I have some summer tan so I’ll save it til then.
I was pretty excited when I saw the adorable packaging for this Allegory Story lip gloss but completely disappointed by the colour. I’ve yet to have a lipstick or gloss from Boxy that I can actually use. I will say this is more because of me though! Having super pale winter skin and pale pink hair doesn’t leave me with a lot of lipshades that work well. (Look how totally cute my nails are though!)
And finally the Concealer Collection! Honestly, I think this is the type of collection that really only a makeup artist would need as we don’t have the need for all of these shades individually but I do like that this means that pretty much everyone can get some use out of this product! I should circle back in a few months to this and do a follow up for what I’ve actually used.
It started out with Ipsy but before I knew it, I was subscribing to boxes of all types and couldn’t stop! In our house the dog gets a monthly box, the chef gets one, the teen gets one and well… I’m not willing to put in writing how many I try out but currently I’m trying <eek> 3! Let’s start with Boxy Charm.
Boxy Charm is a monthly subscription box that sends you 4 to 5 full sized beauty products for $21 USD! Each month has a theme and March’s theme was Creepy Cute.
Have to say that their packaging is fantastic! Everything arrives safe, secure and cute!! Another thing to note is that the products are full size and always high quality. Now let’s see what I scored this month…
One of my favourite boxes to date it features brands, smashbox, naked cosmetics, RealHer and Crown Brush!
I’m excited to try smashbox’s Photo Finish as it’s a totally new-to-me product. I have heard amazing things about it though! The naked eyeshadow palette are strange colours and to be honest, I’m so over the deep burgundy cosmetics seen in it and the lipstick/liner from RealHer. I keep receiving this colour in lip and eye makeup and they aren’t shades that work on me at all. I’m hoping that spring starts to bring something new though!
This thick and wide fan brush from Crown Brush is dreamy. It’s so soft and I’ve found it perfect for highlighter, blush or bronzer application. I think I’m in love with it (it was also desperately needed as my previous brush was shedding and making me crazy).
Just to give you a further look, these are shots of the two previous month’s boxes!
Anyone else a subscription box addict? What boxes do you subscribe to?
Next edition of Subscription Addiction I’ll feature the FabFitFun box!
